I've heard of people picking a word for the year, and trying to apply it to their lives. Actually, I have heard it several times last year, and I decided that I would give it a try.
I sort of struggled finding the perfect word, but then all of a sudden it hit me.
Yesterday, I told you about how I needed to be thankful for Winter instead of wishing it were warmer weather. I started focusing on the positives instead of the negatives.
I've always been a silver-lining-seeking kind of girl.
Believe it or not, chemo brain is real. I know some people have laughed when I say that my chemo brain is kicking in, but it really does. I have to really focus to overcome those times.
