Bonus-Mom to two fantabulous guys, and Grandma to four grandest of grandkids. I am momma to four fur-babies, dogs – Pepper, Gibbs and Alex, and cat – Mordecai. Above all, I am a child of the One True King.

I am a domestic engineer with ranch hand duties. I love to dabble in photography, and quilting. I am addicted to Pinterest, and love to do my own little PinTests. I started blogging in 2006 on Another Chance Ranch, but decided that I needed to rebrand my little dot on the web. Let me officially welcome you to the new blog! I love to blog, and am deep down a wanna-be writer. My favorite thing to do is to read; so a few years back I started doing book reviews. I just want you to know that I will mostly post book reviews, but I plan to spice things up with a few sprinkles of life here and there.

My family and friends call me a medical mystery. Out of nowhere, on April 17, 1999, I just dropped dead. Crazy, I know. God wasn’t finished with me yet, so they brought me back to life, stuck a defibrillator in my chest, and sent me on my way. I might have left out a few details, but you can read all about that day here, here, and here. Then on April 17, 2011, I found a lump in my breast, and two weeks later was diagnosed with breast cancer. Again, God wasn’t finished with me, and I won that battle. You can read about every step of my battle here.

One of my goals in life is to look for God in everything, everyday. I hope to encourage others to do the same. Another goal I have is to be a cheerleader/supporter for anyone fighting breast cancer. The reason I shared each step of my battle was to hopefully help someone going through what I went through, and maybe ease some of their fears.

So hang out with me for a while. It’ll be fun, I promise!
